Casting My Vote
Tuesday here in the District we get to go to the polls and vote in a primary election – one that matters for one party while the other moves towards November. All throughout the city today I saw “warring” corners of Obama and Clinton supporters but not too many Republicans. Maybe it is because we essentially have a nominee at this point, or maybe it is because there are barely any Republicans in DC!
Within my circle of friends I am surrounded by people whom are voting for either Obama or McCain and being the rogue I think I may vote for Mike Huckabee.
I think Mike has run a great campaign and I like what he has brought to the table in debates and on the trail. While I think he is best as the Republican Vice President candidate, I figure my vote can’t hurt.
